Small onion bulb planter greatly simplifies the process of planting onion assigned for seeds or earlier consumption. Until now planting was labor-intensive and manually occupation. Proposed machine is much easier and shortens the time of planting. Small onion bulb planter consists of frame with copy wheels, on which is mounted the tank with material for planting, planting team driven from tractor PTO drive shaft cooperating with holdfasting wheels and dais for service staff. Small onion bulb planter plants in the same time from five to seven rows of onion at intervals at every 20 cm or four at intervals at every 27 cm. Material assigned for planting is located in machine tank, from which during the work is collected by planting team. Every working section is provided with special shaker, which forbids blocking minor bulbs and also affect the accurate planting. Batching element of onion is mounted in section a special rubber feeder, giving them a sliding motion to the tube, whose outlet is located just above the cultivator point. Planted in that way onion is embedded in the ground and then pressed by the kneading wheels. Described machine achieves an efficiency about 0,6 ha/h. For operate the machine outside of tractor driver it is need one more person, which during the work controls the planting process. Small onion planter is mounted on the rear TUZ and designed to work with tractors, power min. 30 KM. |
