Kaliakra BioFarm is well established agricultural seeds manufacturer and one of largest producers of essential oils and herbs’ grower in Black Sea region, Bulgaria. We are located in Bulgarian major grain production base - the Dobrudja south plains which are close to the west Black Sea coast line. This region is known with unique climate conditions, very suitable for grain growing and convenient for herbs growing.

Kaliakra Biofarm was founded in 1995 and since those times we are dedicated in the manufacture of various agricultural seeds growing – coriander, barley, sunflower seeds.

We operate and maintain our fields with careful attention, dedicated works for long terms growing and earth manipulation by last agriculture farming techniques. Our good products are growing to meet customers' quality needs.

For international supply we mainly process two types of sunflower kernels. These two types of sunflower seeds are welcomed by all of our customers.

Except for that, we also process high quality coriander seeds.

Kaliakra BIOFARM was first started lavender lands located at Black Sea shores – a farm with a trial area of some varieties of Lavandula Angustifolia in 2007 year. From the results of this we chose only 2 varieties on which to concentrate. These were selected for their suitability for use as cut flower, dried flower and oil-bearing properties.

In June 2010 the main production area was prepared and planted on over 200 acres.


A farm studio also operates as an apple garden, region heritage gallery and lavender products shop selling produce made from lavender grown on the farm.

Kaliakra BIOFARM is a well-developed lavender and chamomile fields located near to historical Kaliakra Cape areal.

Since 2010 it been added new herb at our farming list – Chamomile, with projection for bulky harvest trials as from 2012 onwards
