“Agrotechremont” Co. is successor of the former Repair Factory in Popovo. Established in 1961 it wins recognition as a company, which services the agriculture of the country, with subject of activity – production, rehabilitating, overhauls and current repairs of tractors, automobiles, agricultural and land-reclamation machinery, spare parts, details, assemblies and aggregates. The Company is specialized in the production of agricultural machinery for fore-sowing preparation and it is the largest manufacturer of disk harrows on Balkan Peninsula. It produces cultivators, mowers, as well as spare parts for tractor-mounted farm implements.
Over 40% of the manufactured production is for export in the countries from the near East, North Africa, the ex-soviet republics and the countries from the Balkan Peninsula.
“Agrotechremont” Co. has on its disposal a processing line for performing of overhauls of every type of internal-combustion engines, as well as overhaul of assemblies and details of all types of agricultural machinery.
The Company has iron foundry with two furnaces type “Cupola” as well as with modernized workshop for galvanization where the following processes are performed: tin plating, chromium plating, nickel-plating and cadmium plating.
The Joint Stock Company “Agrotechremont” Co. is privatized in the beginning of year 1998 and it is 100% private capital.
