Cargill has operated in Bulgaria since 2007, and has around 70 employees. The office is the company's first in Bulgaria and will provide further opportunities for Bulgarian farmers. Cargill’s trading activities focus on exporting wheat, corn, sunflower seeds, barley and rapeseed; though domestic contracts will also be executed. Following the recent acquisition of Provimi, a leading global producer of animal feed, Cargill has a production facility in Sofia.
