Brevis Ltd. started in 1998, founded by Mr. Nikola Popov.

The company is registered for agricultural products trade - pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

In 2002 due to the rising demand and customer requirements it was vital to ensure greater quantities of agricultural products at the market. In response to these needs and was founded the "N. Popov" sole trader company, with a general aim - agricultural production. Thus the cycle of production and trade was closed.

At the beginning the farmland covers an area of 5000 dca – it started increasing very rapidly and now it reaches an impressive 60,000 dca of private, leased or rented land. The company invests not only in increasing the arable land, but also in technology and equipment.
In 2009, in order to improve the tillage and the produce increase, a modern agricultural technology was purchased:
– CASE Combines
– JOHN DEERE tractors
– CASE Tractors
– a TECHNOMA sprayer
– pumpkin seeds harvesters

All these investments, along with the ambitions of the managers and their strive for high quality, define Brevis as one of the big agricultural producer and a preferred partner. The number of the customers and the constantly expanding both domestic and external market are the proof for this.

Agricultural Production

The company cultivates a total area of about 60,000 dca, located on the lands of the villages around Dulovo. The land is own, leased or rented. Brevis also owns agricultural equipment and facilities for the purposes of production.

The main crops grown are:
- pumpkins (pumpkin seeds)
- coriander
- sunflowers
- wheat

Processing and Storage of Agricultural Produce

Brevis does processing (cleaning) of output produce using a very modern technology ensuring high quality.

Schmidt-Seeger – a cleaning line for primary processing of products

Cimbria Heid – a cleaning line for fine processing which provides quality cleaning products with a maximum purity of 99.99% - a requirement which satisfies even the most demanding customers of the domestic and the international markets.

Brevis imports and exports:
- Pumpkin seeds of many varieties
- Sunflower seeds of many varieties
- Coriander
- Barley
- Wheat

The production is sold at both the internal and the international markets - mainly in Asia, Europe, Middle East and USA.
The volumes of executed production are constantly increasing, and the estimated volumes for last year are:
- sunflower seeds - 10 000 t.
- wheat - 20 000 t.
- pumpkin seeds - 5,000 t.
